FNB online selling invalid Telkom landline prepaid vouchers

I bought a prepaid telkom landline voucher on FNB online banking. The voucher clearly indicates that it is a Prepaidfone and is a Telkom landline.

However, when I enter the 16 digit voucher into the phone via the normal method, Telkom indicates that it is not a valid number. I am still awaiting a response from FNB.

I have now looked on the internet, and it appears that FNB often sell useless Telkom prepaid numbers. If this is a known issue, and FNB carries on doing this, is this not *****?? There are two options: - Gross incompetence (how long can this basic problem go on for??) - A deliberate selling of something that does not work on the idea that it is just too difficult to just get this fixed by either company, and that people will just accept it.
