FNB online forex: beware

FNB's forex service is abysmal. Be warned, FNB do *not* offer an electronic/online forex service (think: Standard Bank's excellent Shyft forex app). If you do a forex purchase "online" with FNB, all you are actually doing is sending an instruction to FNB forex, where after it is dealt with manually, and ***********ly, presumably in some FNB office. I was told (telephonically) that a forex transaction should be processed within 24 hours. In spite of "Sibu" undertaking to "expedite" the transaction, it took 72 hours for FNB to process the transaction. Thereafter, expect 3 to 5 working days (FNB's words, not mine). for the order to be fulfilled! I'm still waiting for my forex to reflect in a UK account, almost a week after the sender app**** for forex online! Meanwhile, somebody (I asked who, but no response from FNB) is earning interest on a substantial amount of (my) money! Utterly pathetic service.
