FNB online

So if you live is SA and have a paypal account tis such a schlep to get your bank account linked with paypal- only US banks work, the only other way is to create an FNB online account even if you not banking with FNB. But thats not even the end of it. FNB has instructions for you to follow on how to link paypal with them, but the instructions are old! They say "Verify" your account but on the paypal website its actually to verify your card! So you spend hours looking , searching then when you call them your on hold for hours untill someone actually helps you.... Now you need to get certified copies of your ID and proof of address- wait 24/48hours untill you have been Ricca successfully - then only you are able to do withdrawals from your paypal account... Why cant you just put the correct instructions on your website?

Thank you for formally logging this complaint- I"m sure the Call centre was this busy exactly due to the fact that people are struggling with the instructions on the two sites that are not exact or correct.

@FNB Customer Resolution Centre - today after I sent the Certified copy of ID and Proof of address to be Ricca properly- only after recieiving the copies I am now told that the ID copy needs to be clear colour copy! Do you see why I get frustrated? TWO WHOLE DAYS WASTED! why? Because you dont see that informing a client correctly and specifically the FIRST time, will make everyone's lives better and easier. FNB is known to be the bank that helps. I am not helped. I am frustrated and mislead is what I am by customer care that assume clients know what they are thinking- im not clairvoyant. Tell me exactly what you need and i will supply it! Now its FRI so Ill only be able to get that colour copy to you by Monday- then maybe ill get an answer Tuesday - thats another THREE DAYS wasted! Geez man!
