FNB on-line services are getting worse by the day, in every department.

FNB on line services are getting worse by the day, in every department. "How can we help you" - must be one of the worst jingles ever produced by FNB. It should be how we can help them, They create a multitude of situations to waist their clients time, and frustrate them.

Covid - For many years I had a message on on-line banking profile, offering pre-approved loan of a large six figure amount. The second lock down was announced, the offer disappeared. WHEN I NEEDED IT THE MOST. Phone calls confirmed that the offer had been removed. Now, just to add insult to injury, the offer is back again - "How can we help you" What a joke.

Credit Cards - They approve your online banking shopping payment on their app, and then, secretly, their ***** division blocks your payment for a multitude of lame excuses, and you have no idea why your payment did not go through. After a multitude of calls to FNB and the on-line store, they finally advise you that FNB have blocked the various transaction for possible *****, as we are senior (over 60) and they are protecting us. How insulting and frustrating. To further insult and frustrate their customers, a day or two later a agent calls you to inform you of the hold on the transaction, and now asks if they should release the funds for the on-line transaction. FNB, with on-line shopping, NO ONE waits a day or two to pay for a transaction. This is how out of touch FNB senior management are, with the on-line world. Perhaps they too should be classified among the "Over 60 syndrome". Why bother with the APP approval in one department, and them block it in another. Once again a another useless system of communication from FNB Management.

Business banking - As a regular transactor on Forex, I log onto FNB on-line banking on a Sunday to perform some transactions. All Forex related icons have disappeared. A few frustrating phone calls later reveal they have been removed for maintenance purposes. Of course if is too complicated for the bright individuals to post a notice on the banking site, informing their customers of their actions.

Call Centers - Good luck getting to speak to one of the remote call center agents. After waiting all for the redundant messages, options and information you finally pass through security ID checks, to be through to an remote assistant, who simply makes some background noises, covers the mouth piece, and then ends the call, or alternately you have their family and pets making a racked in the background. FNB have the cheek to send an email asking to rate the call, just to frustrate us more, as there is never a follows up, and we have to police their staff for them, as they don't have the ability to do it themselves.

FNB-Paypal - After using this application for many years it is placed on hold, according to the message on the on-line banking site. In other works the account is blocked. No further information is offered. It turns out, after a few days of investigating and many calls, all they require is a simple form to be completed to confirm country of residence. Again, FNB and their super efficient management and on-line geniuses, could not possibly post a notice with the blocked message, to inform their frustrated customers that they all they need to do is download a form and sent it to a email address.

FNB management are useless and have no clue as to how to offer services to their clients.
