FNB official refuses to assist with **** e-Wallet transaction

I saw an advert on 13 March 2021 Kimberley Classifieds Facebook of a Brittany Ogle who was selling furniture. I opted to the the bed of R1 500 but she didn't want to do a COD and was told to do an EFT E-Wallet transfer to her cell *** (which I did at 13:00) and her other cell nr was ***. She informed me that the item will be marked sold on facebook. However, when the bed had to be delivered 14:00, I was told that another client wants to purchase the bed and I must pay the balance. I said that she could cancel the deal and she agreed to refund the R500 but it was never paid to date. When I checked Facebook, saw it was a **** and immediately called the ***** Line to stop this transaction. I called the ***** line ***** Case: *** and ***, 8 times and was told to call the e-Wallet nr 4 times and by the time that I was told how to reverse the e-Wallet transaction, the money was gone... I tried 4 times to reverse the transaction as told by bank official *120*277* and *120*320* to no avail. I got all the proof of the conversation and also opened up a ***** case with SAPS CAS 307/03/13. There no basically no one to quickly assist me. I went to the Diamond Pavilion Branch in Kimberley early Monday morning and the Affidavit and Cas Nr was fwd as requested. However, the same day I got a response from Alene Palmer stating that there's nothing FNB can do. I was told by the ***** Unit on 13 March to make an affidavit with SAPS and open a case which I did as this was a "**********" transaction and I had been misled by the "client" and to submit to the ***** Unit of FNB which I comp**** with. It is unacceptable that I must loose out on R500 when I was unaware that this was a ****. Alene further stated that the report was for the police that she e-mailed to me. How am I supposed to trust my bank if there is no remedy for e-Wallet transactions to recover money? She also stated that they will investigate? Why, when I was told that the bank cannot help me? What happened to FNB slogan "How can we help you?" It is very frustrating to continue at this rate. Please assist me to get the R500 refunded as I was ****med. I saw a post of another client, only after I had made a deposit, stating it was a **** and that the "seller" was a *********! I have been banking with FNB since 1999 and as a Premier client, would like to continue doing so. However, if officials within the bank cannot assist me with such issues, how can I continue to bank with FNB? What safety measures have been built in to ensure that such transactions can be reversed or the person's cellphone be blocked from accessing funds? Please Help as this is financially very difficult times especially with the COVID crisis as well and I am a single parent. I rely on my bank FNB to come to my aid. I trust that my faith in FNB will not be in vain.
