FNB Offering O/draft to Pensioners without consent
First National Bank offered a Overdraft Facility to a pensioner without their consent. My mother saw the OD facility loaded on her account for R10K, she then went to Balfour Park Branch to query the facility.
The consultant could not find the overdraft agreement on file nor the telephonic agreement of the facility.

What we would like, is for the facility to be removed from the account and we are sent from one person to another. We queried this on the 01/10/2015 and on 05/10/2015 at Balfour Branch and still the issue is not resolved.
The service fees are however deducted from the account.

Shame on you FNB, if that's how you conclude your sales, shame on you. What we are tol now is that the facility was loaded in 2013 and by then the account was a savings account. How the hell can the OD facility be loaded on the savings account. We told them that this account was a savings account and only upgraded to a current account in 2014, now they change their story to say that the facility was agreed to on the 17 June 2015, but they cannot provide proof of agreement.

Complete irritation nxa.
