FNB - not worth the effort

I make a payment yesterday, today I get a call from a random 087 number and someone telling me is calling from fnb and needs to confirm all my personal details. I say to him with all the ***** that is happening I have been advised not to disclose my personal info , so he tells me he will reverse the payment, I say to him I will make the payment again to which he says he will just reverse it again. There has to be a better way I understand there is ***** but don’t as my bank advise me not to disclose to my personal information and as a bank we will never ask you for your PIN number only to have your staff calling and asking for the exact information you advise not to disclose, and then when calling the call centre asking me to insert my PIN number for verification when again you say you will never ask for this. I just want to make a payment should I close this useless account cause I don’t have any of these issues with my Capitec account.
