FNB NOT WILLING TO HELP ME!

I took out my bond with FNB more then 10 years ago. I have never been in arrears with my payments. Its only in recent months that I.have experienced some financial difficulties. I contacted FNB and tried to to make arrangements. But the consultants(everytime a different person) told me that if I don't pay the arrears of R8000 then my house will be repossessed! I was only able to make payment of R5000. I told the consultant that I can pay the normal installment for August + R1000. But by September 2015 I will be able to pay the normal installment + I will settle all the arrears on my account. I have pleaded with the consultants but they still don't want to assist me and say they going ahead with the repossession!. PLEASE HELP!
