FNB not very helpful in CIPC registration process
On the 5th of June we started our CIPC application through FNB and submitted the initial documents. On the 8th of June we were asked to resubmit the documents as the previous ones weren't adequate. We then resubmitted those documents. On the 19th of June we received the KYC and SAR forms which we submitted on the 19th. Then we waited. On the 7th of July we decided to call as the whole process started to feel a bit drawn out. I called the business banking call center 5 times. The first call I did not have all the details needed. Called back, new agent, explained the story again. I was then placed on hold after which the phone cut out/ I was hung up on. Called again, no answer. Called again. . .New person . . . Explain story again... On hold . . . Cut again. Last call the lady said she will escalate, I am still waiting for follow up. Then on the 8th my partner called and spoke to a gentleman who escalated the matter. Today on the 9th I received an email to say the original documentation was wrong (proof of residence, which I used to open my personal bank account. A process supposedly 5 - 7 days long. If we didn't call how long would we have to have waited ?
