FNB not releasing an EFT made to their Client

On Friday 13 November I made a payment to reserve a booking through an institution banking with FNB.<br> The money was deducted from my ABSA account and I got a successful proof of payment but, this money was never paid over to the institution by FNB.<br> <br> Upon enquiry with ABSA as to why the institution didn't receive their money, I was informed by ABSA internet banking division, that there was a glitch on FNB's side on 13 November where payments from ABSA were not released by FNB (although the money was very greedily accepted) and that FNB's client had to contact FNB to release the money.<br> <br> This was communicated to the service provider, who at their turn contacted FNB to release the money. FNB made claim that no money was received and that their client should request their client (i.e. ME) to contact MY bank and locate missing money.<br> <br> I've contacted my Absa Banker to investigate and after 2 days of investigation was told that FNB was holding on to the money and their client had to request them to manually release the payment.<br> <br> 3 weeks later this has not been done and Im now in risk of loosing my booking (and seemingly my money as well) as FNB is refusing to pay over my money!!!
