FNB not intersted
I am appalled at the service received from FNB.
On Saturday the 30th of November 2024, I did an online purchase which was on a bogus link which is my fault completely.
I called the FNB emergence line within 5 minutes and asked them to stop the transaction and we cancelled all cards and online banking.
I received what must be a general email from FNB on the 5th of December 2024 advising me on how to be “safe” with reference “***”
On the 9th of December 2024 a received a letter from FNB stating pretty much too bad to sad “we did nothing wrong on our side” your problem.
I responded the same day stating that I was not happy with the outcome.
On the 13th of December 2024 you responded that you have received my email and it has been forwarded to the relevant department and I will get feedback with in 5 days.
On the 17th of December 2024 I received this “Thank you for contacting us.
We refer to your complaint.
Kindly note that your matter has been referred for review from a relationship perspective and you will be provided with feedback. We apologise for the inconvenience caused.”
From there I heard nothing from FNB until this past Friday the 17of January 2025 with the same garbage that was sent to me on the 9th of December 2024.
I want to know why was the transaction never stopped when it was sitting in “pending” for days after which FNB could have stopped. The transaction was only listed on my statement on the 3rd of December 2024.
Instead you just send me stupid emails of saying its not FNB’s problem.
Clearly being a client for over 20 years with 3 different accounts means nothing.
Maybe I need to start looking at different banking options seeing that FNB cant or wont or just doesn’t feel like it.
This is absolutely ridiculous from your side.
I sent another email on the 21st of January 2025....... Guess what no reply, are we surprised.
Sent another email on the 6th of February 2025......Guess what still no reply.
Well done FNB
