FNB not helping customers in arrears
We have a bond with FNB that is in arrears. The court case is scheduled for Monday 17th August. We desperately need a resolution before then. We live in the property and have a child living with us.

We do not want to be in arrears and have tried to make arrangements to pay off some of the outstanding amount for the next three months and then we will pay all the arrears when I get my pension which is due at the end of Octoberd. We will then pay the instalment on a monthly basis. I think this is a good arrangement, we and the bank get a better deal than selling the house on auction. We have not heard back from the collections division.

Both my wife and I were unemployed for 1 year and 5 months. We have tried to get a loan but cannot get one because of my credit record at the moment.

Another option could be for someone to grant us a loan for the arrears amount and then we can pay that back as we can afford it monthly now. We are prepared to look at any feasible option to save our home.
Can this complaint please reach someone higher up in FNB who can override the system to work out an arrangement for us?

FNB is supposed to be the one bank that looks after it's customers.
