FNB not helpful in determining interest calculation on bond

I am trying to establish how interest is calculated on my bond. My first attempt was using the secure "Chat to your team of online bankers". When I eventually got to "chat" the person wrote that I need to call the home loans department. What is the point of a whole "team" of bankers?

Then I tried calling and was cut off in the first two calls. The next call I started by asking that the person take my number and call me back in case I get cut off again as it costs me money to do all this calling. The person stated that it is only an inbound call center and that they cannot call me back. That is rather poor service.

I then asked for a breakdown of the interest calculation which the representative then logged an admin call for and she would ask for the "statement" for the last three months, I re-iterated that I do *not* want a statement but the precise, day-by-day if necessary, calculation of my interest for the last three months.

I then also asked for a copy of the voice recording and was told that I need to ask for that from someone else to which I responded that the voice clip at the start of the call mentioned that I may request a copy. So I left that with her. She did mention that it would be sent only to a branch... which is totally odd but whatever.

FNB is not quite as helpful as one would expect. Also, all this manual intervention speaks to a bank that is also not as technologically "advanced" as they aim to portray.
