FNB Not Helpful

My mother died 5 years ago and in her will I was sole beneficiary. She had a Money Market Account with FNB which I have been trying to close and withdraw the last R10,000 still in the account. FNB will not let me do it without a Letter of Executorship from the Gauteng Courts. I had to eventually employ the services of a Lawyer to help me with this but to date they have been unsuccessful as the courts just dont get back to them or find more documents they need. This has now become ridiculous and I cannot understand why, when there is an official will , I still have to get this letter from the Courts which is proving impossible. I would really like to finalise my moms accounts but cannot while FNB is being so pedantic.
