FNB NOT following the Customer Consumers Act and de*****ing clients

I wish I could score a minus 10 stars, I bought a Samsung tv through the FNB connect app and it was delivered to my house on the 18th of November, when I opened the box the tv screen was shattered and broken, I immediately reported this to FNB, Digital Planet who delivered the tv and waited 3 weeks for them to decide who should come and assess the damage, frustrated with the fact that I had to E-mail and answer a million questions and send photos of the damage to FNB, Digital Planet and Samsung I decided to cancel this contract with FNB on the 26th of November. Samsung finally send someone to assess the damage on the 11th of December. Today on the 18th of December FNB informed me that I will be held liable for the almost R9000.00 damage on the tv as well as be liable to pay the contract with FNB, so I have to pay for a Contract I canceled within 7 days of receiving the broken tv and pay for the damage I did not cause as this tv was delivered to be already broken. Unacceptable!! Where is the customer consumers act protecting the customer from being de*****ed. Obviously the Samsung assessment will be that I should pay for the damage as they did not even want to take the responsibility of doing the assessment why would they take responsibility for the damage. But for FNB to make their clients responsible for damage not caused by the client is the worst!! I have never received such horrible service in my life, Please NEVER EVER use FNB connect because if something should go wrong FNB will make you pay for mistakes made by the 3rd party they use to deliver your package. You will be left with debt to pay and still no working device you ordered.

Thank you for responding. I expect FNB to investigate this matter as i'm your client is currently being treated unfairly and your approach is 100% against the customer consumers act and I will not be held responsible for a device delivered to me already damaged, and now I'm being held responsible for the damage to repair the device as well as being held liable to pay for the contract I canceled within 7 days, and I'm still stuck with the broken tv at my house as non of the company's not FNB, Digital Planet or Samsung want to take responsibility. This is unacceptable!!
