FNB not focused on their business clients

FNB requested FICA documentation in respect of an existing business account. This information was provided where two weeks later the account was frozen. Upon visiting the branch (Commercial Suites Port Elizabeth) additional information was requested and provided where the business banking account was opened. The account was again frozen on Friday 26th June without warning. On visiting the branch additional and now new information was requested. This was provided on Monday the 29th June. To date, repeated attempts to contact the branch or have them unblock our business account remains unsuccessful. No-one has called to update on any progress being made nor have multiple urgent e-mails or phone calls in respect of this matter been responded too. The business banking account has been open for 3 1/2 years. FNB have a greater focus on bank charges than they do on customer care. To simply freeze a clients business account without warning or calling the client is unacceptable. Employing staff who don't take their responsibilities seriously or recognize that clients pay their salaries is worse still. I will be moving to a new bank in the near future.
