FNB not closing active mandates of settled credit on profile

Right. Here I am posting again because still I am struggling. I am struggling to get FNB to remove active mandates from my credit profile of accounts that have been settled - some for years and others for months. I got an email from FNB stating it will take up to TWO YEARS TO REMOVE THESE ACTIVE MANDATES. Two years???????? So, for two years I will not be able to apply for finance of any kind because FNB does not close active mandates after credit has been settled. When will this end???????? Why must I come here to get assistance?????
