FNB not awarding eBucks on Engen Fuel Spend

Please check your eBucks awards from FNB based on your Engen fuel spend.

This is the 3rd month (in a row) I've caught FNB *****ing my eBucks.... Refer to my previous posts on HelloPeter on the same issue.

This time round, this is what happened:

I filled up at various Engen sites as I had a roadtrip in October 2022. On 8 November, i checked my eBucks allocation, and found that FNB split my fuel spend into 2 categories, namely Engen Fuel Spend, and Non Engen Fuel Spend.

At this point, lets be clear that FNB was able to identify Fuel Spend from other purchases- so well done (this comes back to bite them).

When i queried the specific transactions that make up my Non Engen Fuel Spend, the agent was able to provide me with: 1. the amount 2. the date of the transaction 3. the reference on FNB system

I then queried the reference from the agent, who told me it read as follows: "Engen Colesberg, and Engen Bloemfontein".

I then asked them to review the transaction and re categorise it to Engen fuel spend- they refused with the following reason: We need to confirm that you filled up at an Engen site, therefore we need the slip.

So my question is as follows: @FNB, you agree it was fuel purchased (you categorised it as Fuel Spend), and you know its an Engen petrol station as YOUR reference indicates that to you- why do you not award my eBucks? What benefit is a slip able to show you, more than what you already know?

Please award my eBucks - and secondly, this impacts my double up rewards, so please ENSURE THAT IN 2 MONTHS TIME, WE ARE NOT HAVING THE SAME DISCUSSION.

For FNB- who loves to respond to issues only when it gets to HelloPeter, my reference for the issue is ***Q

I find this extremely inconvenient to fight for my eBucks monthly, and more so its embarrassing that eBucks has been ranked first in the world for (wait for it) ............................... "its use of technology", yet they have every excuse to not award whats due to its customers.

Engen- please get involved and sort your Partner out- they are damaging your reputation as well.
