FNB not able to assist my ill pensioner mother
It’s so sad to receive such bad service after my mother has been banking with FNB since the 90’s. (Which I know of) She is a pensioner living in an old age home, with Parkinson’s and due to her health she is bed bound. I’ve been struggling to get signing power back again since October 2020, as my mother in law currently have signing power. The FNB Springbok branch refused to assist my mother in law to move the signing power. My mother moved from Northern Cape to Western Cape and can’t handle her finances anymore. With Covid I made a special meeting as Springbok FNB said they can’t assist without my mother, they didn’t even pitch up for the meeting. It’s disgusting to know FNB won’t go the extra mile for their old people with illnesses?? I have since moved my mother’s account to Nedbank but now can’t access her savings account or even close the FNB account as she can’t get to the bank. She is now in Cape Town in an old age but the old age is under lock down no visitors, she can’t even get out of bed but still FNB won’t come to the table. And amend the process as we all know COVID has changed everything. FNB, it’s time to wake up and give the clients their well deserved service! As no one in Cape Town also can’t assist I have now no choice but to hit the social media to get assistance. I would appreciate assistance in this matter.
