FNB not a bank for support - Disgusting!

Honestly I am highly disappointed with FNB, if I could give them 0 stars I would. I have been a loyal customer, both in my personal capacity and with my business for more than 10 years and I have always had financial offers from them left right and centre.

Due to Covid-19 pandemic obviously finances have changed but I have still have made a plan to meet my financial obligations to date. With that said, due to interest rates for my repayments on 2 accounts I have called FNB to request a consolidated loan on my account. They have advised that they cannot assist due to the decrease in my salary. Now hear me out... if they assist with the outstanding amount by giving me 1 loan, I definitely can afford the repayments even with the reduced salary as I would not have the repayment and interest on 2 accounts.

I am not requesting money to spend recklessly, I am asking to fully cover my financial obligations with them and to rather REDUCE my current repayments and interest over 2 accounts. They can even pay the money DIRECTLY TO THE OUTSTANDING ACCOUNTS.

They are not willing to hear me out. I have requested to escalate the matter from the agent (Sumaya Mojoos) but her supervisor advised that she should tell me that she was too busy in and out of meetings and that FNB cannot assist me.

So let me get this straight... FNB is only willing to support ME during the good times?? When I am attempting to FLOAT they have now kicked me to the curb because I no longer earn what they would like me to earn.

I called Standard Bank and they were so helpful, I explained my story and what I wanted to do with the loan. They were honestly shocked that FNB is not willing to hear me out based on what I needed and that all I was trying to do was consolidate my current balances.

Guys - please rethink being with FNB. They are only for good times and had my request been reviewed and understood I honestly feel like they could have assisted IF they wanted to.

Disgusting behavior FNB, I hope you never need help from anyone.
