FNB Non Resident Centre - Beyond pathetic!

I am resident in the UK and have been for some time. I receive a pension from Old Mutual which must be transferred to me via a non resident account because of Exchange Control regulations. Each quarter, I email FNB Non-Resident centre to request money to be transmitted to me in the UK. On this last occasion, I spent nearly £15 in phone bills trying to contact FNB from London but kept getting a badly recorded music tape and no one answered except for one occasion where I got cut off. It takes FNB an entire week to send my pension. In addition to all the phone calls, I sent several emails to which I received no reply.

I then completed a complaint and eventually received an email saying the complaint had been registered and someone would contact me shortly. No news yet, three weeks on.

Does FNB Non-Resident centre have anyone actually working there? Transmission of my pension used to take 2 days - what went wrong? Is there anyone manning the phones?

If you are thinking of opening a non resident account, it would be wiser to go elsewhere. Absolutely pathetic service from FNB.
