FNB - NO SERVICE

I have been with ABSA all my life and I heard so many great things from FNB and how fast one can switch over to them and save costs. I went into the branch about a month ago and asked about costs and option as I wanted similar accounts to what I had plus a credit card. The Sales person kept pushing me towards their Fusion account even after I asked repeatedly that I want to be able to pay money over to my credit card in order for me to keep a positive balance as I don't necessarily want to use it for credit. Once the account was created I released within days that this is basically a fancy overdraft facility and that what I asked for I did not receive. On top of that I asked for my debit orders to be changed to my FNB account on the 1st of November. 60% of them went of on my new FNB account on the 1st of October and the other 40% went off on ABSA. (This 40% I also had to contact myself to make the changes) Furthermore I only new that there was an issue when one of my debit orders notified me that the change was made and that the date it would be deducted would be on the 1st of October. If it wasn't for this notification then it would've not gone off as I was advised by FNB to only transfer R100 to each account within 24hours. I went into the brance after none of my calls were answered and explained everything. Now they cancelled the Fusion credit facility and then, only after I requested, to reimburse me for any costs incurred. This request is still pending... I also app**** for a credit card at this time, which was about 3 weeks ago and was declined and supporting docs had to be sent. I was promised feedback on that Friday, which I still haven't received. I then went into the back last week Friday and they promised promised to get back to me by COB. Nothing happened... Again on Monday this week I went through and the same story... Today someone contacted me, merely to state my credit limit and that they will call me back in an hour. I waited for this call and then carried on with my day as I did not receive any call. They eventually called back about 4 hours later when I was in a meeting and sent me an email stating that tried to call. I responded to this withing minutes and still I have had no feedback. I have threatened to close my FNB accounts numerous time over the course of this transition as that's the only way someone will listen, or so I thought. At ABSA I could've had my credit card within 2 days... I'm cancelling my FNB accounts tomorrow and FNB will have to absorb the costs of my accounts. I will not recommend FNB to anyone, seeing as this is how they treat new clients.
