FNB - No proof of Credit Cover, so just pay!

I have been a loyal client of FNB for more than 10 years now, I have my bond, vehicle finance and generally all my banking with FNB. Last month I got retrenched and now when I reach out to my banker, he tells me that ALL my Products does not have retrenchment cover and I need to make arrangements. I cannot believe that this is true and kindly asked that he please sends me proof of me declining such cover, prior to making arrangements that will negatively impact me in finding a new job. Retrenchment should be a standard fee for any type on loan in today's world! I would like to find out from FNB what options they can offer me that will not impact me getting a new job but it seems that they only interested in you as a client when you able to pay!
