FNB motto is not a true representation of the brand!

The motto should not be "How can we help you", it should be "How can we not help you".

I had an issue with online banking(the first time in the many years I have been using this service) and called in for technical assistance. After being on hold for a few minutes I was told that my account was suspended and I needed to visit a branch to resolve.

I use the service to purchase prepaid electricity which I needed to do yesterday, but I couldnt, so I was left without electricity until the local shops had opened for business.

This was an inconvenience as the day i needed the service the most no-one was able to assist me. I asked for further assistance but all I got was that the matter was being escalated.

I am a "premier" client but that means nothing as I still have not had anyone contact me. My home loan is with FNB and I have been an FNB client for more than 12 years now and I cant believe that no-one could assist me over the phone yesterday. I am actively looking at moving my home loan and closing my FNB account. Each year my bank fees go up for no apparent reason and I dont see many benefits banking with you guys. I have already cancelled my credit card with you guys.
