FNB Mokopane Branch not taking customers seriously.
On the 20th of December 2022, at around 18:00, i went to FNB Mokopane Branch, in Limpopo, to deposit cash at an ATM for my daughters school fees.
The transaction was unsuccessful, as the money was all swallowed by the ATM machine, fortunately, i received a receipt from the ATM and i showed it to security personnel who was on duty on that day, and he advised me to come the following day with the receipt, so that i could get refunded.
on the 21st of December 2022, i went to the bank, and i was assisted by a lady called Ouma Lebelo, who made me fill forms for refunding and i was told that the money will reflect in my account in 48hours.
On the 29th of December 2022, i did a follow up with Ouma, who responded by saying, the person dealing with the matter (Kgomogoroga Diale) could not see my transaction on the system.
On the 5th of January 2023, i went to FNB Mokopane to do a follow up, and Ouma Lebelo was the consultant who assisted me. Ouma came back with a response that, there was a mistake when they checked for my transaction, they checked on the 21st of December 2022, instead of checking on the 20th of December, hence the first response was that, they could not track my transaction.
I was then given a new, reference, and was told that the money will reflect in 48 Hours, and i would like to confirm that as i type this complaint, my R5300,00 has not reflected as yet.
This is poor service from FNB Mokopane Branch. I have been banking with FNB for more than 16 years, and i am contemplating on leaving for another bank because of the service i am currently receiving.
Kind Regards, Oscar Hlalethwa, ***
