FNB - MODERN DAY ******S!

FNB temporary loan - on my private online banking profile I was offered a pre-approved loan of R9,000.00 which I thought comes quite handy on Friday 01 March 2018 when I took it up. I was informed that they will charge an 'INITIATION FEE' of over R1,000.00!!! On Monday 05 March 2018 which was just over the weekend I was debited an amount of R2,103.93 without prior notice. Surprised about this consumer/ customer unfriendly practice, I was shocked to see that another amount of R7,976.07 was debited two days later, without notice again, on Weddnesday 07 March 2018. What a bad experience! And I am a business customer too, doing more than R10mio turnover. Be warned of this ********* practice! No morals, no values, except the shareholder value! FNB made out of R9,000 in just one week more than R10,000! Taken from his own client! Not a bad return (12% in one week x 52 = approx. 5,800% in one year!) but does this comply with the National Credit Act? Or have they just found a way around it? Not nice...and far away from their social responsibility!
