FNB misallocated funds, causing delays and unresolved account discrepancies.
Request for Correct Allocation of Payments – Accounts *** and *** I wish to clarify that the amount of R10,822.38 was specifically paid to settle account *** with FNB’s appointed attorneys, Anders Inc, in line with the agreed settlement. This amount should therefore not be allocated to any other account.
In light of this, I formally request that the payment of R15,494.44, which was made directly to the bank, be allocated to account *** in order to reduce and/or settle the outstanding balance on this account.
Kindly ensure that the allocation of funds is corrected accordingly and provide me with an updated statement reflecting the accurate application of these payments.
Given the delays experienced since January, I request that this matter be treated with urgency.
- The amount of R10,822.38 paid to Anders Attorneys was specifically for the settlement of loan account ***, in accordance with the negotiated settlement agreement concluded with Anders Inc.
- The direct payment of R15,494.44 made to the bank was intended to settle loan account ***.
Based on the above, I respectfully maintain that the payments should be aligned with their intended purpose. The amount paid to Anders Inc was to settle the handed-over account, while the direct payment to the bank should be app**** to the remaining loan account.
In light of this, I kindly request that the allocations be reviewed and corrected accordingly, if not already aligned with the above clarification.
