FNB ****MERS

One of the FNB employees ****med my mom R4000. On the 1st of April 2023 she went to FNB Lakeside branch in Benoni where she was assisted with canceling her old bank card due to being misplaced. On the same date she opened another FNB card and then requested with diactivating the tapping system on her new bank card. A male FNB employee assist her to call a certain contact number from the FNB head office "they say". Over the phone, she spoke to a lady of which she cannot recall her name. The lady from FNB over the phone indicated to her that for her to help in diactivate the tapping system she needs to provide her with the 4 numbers from the back of her bank card and proceeded to request my mother to provide her with an OTP number. After 2 hours from the call, R4000 was taken away. This makes me angry because my mom trusted FNB but got ****med by them. My mom is Diabetic and does not deserve this kind of a stress. I would not advise anyone to bank with FNB as it has ********s wearing the FNB uniforms.
