FNB merchant services deceptive billing & appalling service

<p>2 months ago (09 Aug 2016) I sent an email to FNB merchant services requesting for the cancellation of the speedpoint machine for my business. The speedpoint given to us was faulty and didn’t work, we also nolonger required it so I sent a cancellation request nobody got back to me in the first month and I was charged R995 for the speedpoint although no transactions were processed on it and I had requested for it to be cancelled. After I was billed, I contacted the sales lady who had sold the speedpoint rental to us (07 Sept 2016) and she resubmitted my request for cancellation to merchant services and they informed us that a call was logged for the request on 12 Sept 2016. I followed up on the call as I hadn’t heard anything back on the 17 Sept 2016 and didn’t get any response. On the 2 Oct 2016 I was billed yet again for a 2nd month after sending a cancellation request. This is simply UNACCEPTABLE! I expect for my bank account to be reimbursed for the 2 months of billing in which a cancellation has still not been processed. The service delivery standards at FNB are appalling and FNB deserves to be heavily fined by the banking ombudsman. This is not the first nor the third issue I have had with the bank regarding incorrect billing and ********** service.</p>
