FnB Manager Justin Nicolaai & Team Leader Shane Raynor seems to be creating their own laws these days in which seems to benefit FnB & makes Holes in their Consumers Pockets!

I have 2 cellphone contracts with FnB & both seem to be giving me a serious headache! With FnB you pay for the device over a 24 month contract. On my 1st device-The phone had a signal problem on the 3rd month in which the device went in for Repairs & on the 4th month i was issued with a new device in which FnB had taken it upon themselves to start me off on a new 24 month contract for that device on that 4th month without informing me or getting my authorization I was now forced into a 28 month contract. My 2nd device stopped working on the 11th month in which was within the 12 month warranty period. I was told that I have 2 options. Option 1 was to cancel my contract & lose my 11 months installment for device or get a new device & start a new 24 month contract leaving me with a 35 month contract. Both my attorney & I agree that what fnb is doing in these issues are *******. I requested the Manager Justin Nicolaai to call me since April since he was never in the office, last week Wednesday my private bankers manager got him to call me. He called me that same Wednesday acknowledged & confirmed that fnb was wrong on both matters & promised to solve my 2nd issue that afternoon 4pm & my 1st issue by the next morning 9am. To date he didn't call me or solved any of my issues. Today after numerous emails I get an email from his Team Leader Shane Raynor stating that they are not willing to solve these issues & that I'll be issued with a deadlock letter in 5-7 days for me to take legal action against FnB. It's not legal in South Africa for a customer to be issued with a new 24 month contract everytime a device has factory defects & the device being under warranty? How can FnB request a customer to take legal action when they are in the wrong? Fnb devices cannot be repaired at any cellphone repair shops due to them not stocking parts or accessories for these devices. Fnb themselves can't repair these devices! So what do I do with this device yet I'm forced to keep paying my monthly subscription for it???

Hi Daffnie, as our telephonic conversation when I called you earlier. You agreed to get your fnb's legal department to call me but I haven't received a call as yet, I'm not sure why you referred this matter to my private banker as I did refer this matter to her last week Monday and I was told that, all she could do was lay a complaint on my behalf and the manager Justin from smart devices did not receive her complaint. Yet again today I have not received any feedback on this matter as any other department in fnb will call the customer as early as possible to resolve the issue. Being a private client seems to be a serious headache. I never had such issues when I had a gold account. Every department wants you to speak to your private banker these day yet the private banker gives you pathetic service.
