FNB making me solve my own problems
All my international subscriptions and payments on my card are being rejected. I visited my FNB branch and they checked and said it was a forex issue. As usual though they cannot do anything about it and called the call center which was closed on Saturday morning. The next week I had to call them myself. They said it was a known issue to my relief and asked me to send an email titled "reinstate international limits" to a certain email address with all my card details (great security asking for card details to be sent by email). They assured me it would be resolved in 2 days. One week later nothing. I resent an email and a day later got a blunt reply saying "There are no limits on your card". Great job FNB. Guess I need to fix the issue myself then if no one working for you can fix anything. Meanwhile, I have been blocked from my online subscriptions including work related stuff like my AWS account. Moving to another bank.
