FNB LOC LAW ON CALL VERY POOR SERVICE!

FNB LOC(Law on Call) has dismally failed me in my opinion!

Please can you assist me hellopeter get in touch with the Head of this division or the CEO….I have sent scores of mails to see him personally so I can show him exactly ‘what hasn’t happened’ all the way back to May and am being fobbed off and told they are working on this and will get back to me. I AM STILL WAITING FNB LOC!

Even worse, I sent them an e-mail to cancel my membership due to what I regard as poor service delivery on 28 May 2021 and to add insult to injury, I have once AGAIN been debited by them this month…so for July and August even after giving a full calendar month’s notice!

So you know that story, when you need a lawyer, we are here for you etc? You contact them and ask for assistance. They ignore your request for weeks and eventually get back to you and say but our policy does not include eviction assistance unless the tenant is LIVING ON THE PROPERTY YOU ARE LIVING ON!! Have you ever? We will write you a letter, however,send us the lease. You do that, and no letter ever arrives!!! After numerous more e-mails they apologise but I feel cheated and short changed on a policy I have being paying on for years, that didn’t deliver when I needed them most on a clause that conveniently doesn’t include what one happens to need assistance on. I’ve subsequently had to pay a lawyer in any case even although I still have a policy with them! Even worse, they continue to take my money! Any suggestions hellopeter? Is there a legal ombudsman one can approach and show them your evidence etc?

Yesterday an sms without explanation: “Your claim submitted on 31/5/2021 for FNB Law on Call Plan has been CLOSED! No further explanation. Today is the 12 Aug: 74 days later!
