FNB Loans/CPP premium, eBucks Earnings - Service deterioration, bleeding me dry up!!

Personal Loan Issue I took out a 60 month personal loan with FNB. I was advised that the loan could not be taken out without CPP cover. I accepted this fact.

In reviewing my loan statement it came to my attention 38 months later that I am still paying the same premium for the original loan amount. I see the premium has not changed. I owe less than half that original amount now.

I called the Loan section today and got to speak to a chap by the name of Chesslyn who assured me he would call me back as I had held on for 15 minutes on my cell phone. I am writing this review later as I am loathe to wait another 15 minutes to try get hold of him or someone in their loans department. I want to know why my premium has not priced according to the risk amount. R466-03 a month is a bit pricy. Would like to see some sort of refund on this as I see this as outright theft of money form clients that are desperate for loans.

eBucks Issue I have been a customer of FNB for many many years. My banking needs have changed and last year I got a call offering to upgrade me from Private Client to Private Wealth. (I believe that's the right order).

I was on 30% earnings for eBucks at the time and about to move to the 40% tier. I received a card in the mail but it was only a credit card, so I decided to wait for the debit card before I activated either.

At month end I noticed that my eBucks credit was far lower than usual. After querying this I was told that only my credit Card had been upgraded and so I had moved back to 10% earnings!!!!!!! Really, was never mentioned on the call. And why would I only agree to upgrading one card!!!!

I then request that we bring the account into sync so and reinstate my eBucks earnings. I also asked that my eBucks be back dated. I was sent forms to fill in last September because although they could change my world on the whim of a phone call they could fix the issues using the same method. Well to cut a log story short I was out of contract for 3 months so I asked that they cut me back down to premier on all cards, but reinstate my eBucks earning level.

To date this has not happened. Just wondering what has happened to FNB and why the level of services has dropped while the need to squeeze every last cent of income has rocketed!!!
