FNB loans - debit order

I have an agreement for FNB to collect money via debit order on the 24th of every month . On 3rd of September I got a message to say my account is in arrears. I got a call days after that I asked them when did they try collect I got told the 24 th and they got an unpaid from my bank .I told them that nothing is reflecting on my bank statement to indicate an unpaid or FNB trying to collect from the 24th of August to 28 of August , I even sent them the bank statement to prove this. I also indicated that this is affecting my credit record as I was appling for certain things this came up and how are they going to fix this, I didn't get a way forward but was being asked about making arrangements to make sure my account is up to date. This is not my fault but theirs but they making it my problem and not wanting to accept their faults. I even got told why didn't I check my balance when I questioned , I can't believe this
