FNB Loans

I have been a loyal FNB customer for several years, thus I have a few loans with my bank that I repay every month.

I have been employed by the same company for 5 years and due to personal reasons I resigned in the first month of 2016, yet my debt was still paid every month where only 1 month was outstanding which was paid up to date later.

The end of April my provident fund of my previous employer paid out which is supposed to be my bread & butter for the next month or so to pay all my debt, rent & my car until I have confirmation of my new job. Yesterday FNB deducted all of the left over money in my account to settle a loan and my overdraft facility without my consent leaving me without money to survive any further.

Is this in any way legal?
