FNB linking to PayPal Nightmare

While I am usually vastly patient and understanding, I cannot simply wait and be walked over, by simple services delivered poorly. I have spent days, literally days, and money trying to get this problem resolved. Being paid through dollars, using PayPal, I've tried to link FNB to my PayPal account. But it constantly tells me "Sorry! the email address does not correspond with the PayPal account email address." Which is ******* because they're the exact, and only, email address. I have contacted FNB chat service, who gave me a response 6 hours later, was transferred to someone who could 'assist' me, saying I must go to the a FNB franchise and speak to someone in person (that was a HUGE waste of time and was poor service). I have spoken to PayPal services and on their side, everything is fine and can only suggest the problem lies with FNB and their system. In fact, PayPal called me directly so I wouldn't have to pay to call them! That was good service! FNB has never done that for me unless they're selling policies etc. I saw a teller in person and I even signed a form saying that I have app**** my email to my FNB account because it wasn't, STRANGE because all these years I've gotten emails and statements and more, and never asked to have my email, again, so that felt like I was being **** to or bamboozled. The teller, Mr Johan Van Dyk/Wyk was very polite, although can see was forcing himself to remain professional, and assured the problem was resolved. Went home to link the accounts and the EXACT SAME problem persists and I get the same message that the email does not match the PayPal account. I have tried calling FNB, but it took nearly 15 minutes to be picked up by a human, then I was transferred to another operator, then another and another TWO, it seemed that no one knew the knowledge to do their job or how to speak to a customer. I have worked in a call center before, so I do understand that they have bad days, but to be passed on and on and on and wasting my time (days now) and money... I have reached the point I cannot call again or drive again because that requires money but my money is waiting in my PayPal account, and FNB for some reason, CHARGES me for not having money, (so that when I can get any money, it's less). I cant get my money because FNB, in a sense, is just not working properly, but they ask me for more, while being the problem/block...and so the cycle goes.

If the problem is indeed a 'system error' then why has it not been fixed YEARS AGO, seeing as the same problem was put on HelloPeter in 2018, if the problem is a person who didn't do something properly, whatever the reason is for this issue, it staggers me that they haven't had professional people to work for them and not simply picking them off the streets. I cannot understand anything else as to why they haven't improved or fixed or prevented such issues. To be honest, it doesn't feel like they actually care at all, except for the money they get into their pockets.

In all fairness, the teller did what he could and I do not blame him or hold him at fault, the email part was still strange though.
