FNB Life Policy

I took out a small Life Policy with FNB more then a year ago. On 15 May I wanted to increase the value 3 fold, but I was advised to cancel the 1st policy, which I did, before taking out the new policy. New policy was all done on a recorded call & I was promised that the policy is active immediately (15 May 2019) By end May no deduction of my salary, by end June again no deduction off my salary. I enquired last week & was told I that I was incorrectly informed by the consultant on 18 May 2019. I actually need to go for medical tests, which I did on 4 July 2019. On 10 July I called again to find out the outcome, this time I'm told my policy have been placed on hold due to my BP levels being high. So at the moment I have ZERO Life cover for my family Had I known of all these hassles before, then I would have kept my old small life policy while waiting for the new 1 to be approved. The consultant clearly did not advise me properly, otherwise this could have been sorted weeks ago. I have requested FNB to listen to all the necessary recordings & revert. I have left more then 30 messages, raised 2 complaints as well...thus far NO FEEDBACK. I'm lost for words & will not encourage anyone to do business with this company.
