FNB LIFE INSURANCE PAYS WRONG BENEFICIARY
My mother had a funeral policy with Liberty Life, payments were done through FNB LIFE insurance.
After her passing last year December, I submitted a claim to Liberty life with relevant documents as the beneficiary to the policy. Liberty life forwarded the claim to FNB life insurance. I followed up, as to when I would be receiving the pay out and FNB confirmed that it has already been approved and paid out. To my shock, they paid to an individual who is not the beneficiary to the policy.
Regardless of all the facts I presented to them, they refused to compensate me. I then went back to Liberty Life with a letter from the Masters Court to request for policy documents. I received the documents and the documents confirmed I am the beneficiary.
I called FNB life insurance again and they claimed, Liberty sent a letter to them, stating I am not the beneficiary. I called liberty to confirm, and they confirmed no letter of such was sent to them, Liberty life tried to call FNB to get to the bottom of the issue, but FNB is refuses to co-operate.
FNB LIFE INSURANCE has de*****ed me of what rightfully belongs to me. What a Shame, what a *****!
I would like to update the public, that FNB life, still has not assisted me. No feedback, no phone calls and when I do call no break through. I think it's time for the Ombudsman to be notified. Liberty tried calling them on my behalf, still no answers
