FNB Life cover ****! DO NOT TAKE FNB LIFE COVER

I had Life cover with FNB life which started in August 2012. For 7 years I made payments each month. Last month for some unknown reason my debit order failed to go off. FNB sent me a SMS which stated my policy will lapse if I do not make payment. I call FNB to arrange for a new debit order, and while talking to them to update my details. I Was asked if anything has changes since 2012, and I stated at I have a new chronic condition. The call agent then cancelled my policy because you are not allowed to get new chronic conditions when having life cover, even if its years after you took out the policy. How absurd is this! I laid a complaint through your complaints department only to be told that FNB reserves the right to manage their risks. Now I am a freaking risk to FNB too! SO 7 years of payments for nothing. FNB you stole my money and I will not leave this matter. Prepare for a fight.

Reviewer Update
So FNB Life finally called me, only to tell me that the policy were not cancelled the policy lapsed due to non payment even though I tried to make a payment. Oh and the policy is also old and do not exist anymore, Furthermore FNB did not want to reinstate the policy because of the new chronic condition, and FNB can sell me a new policy with a waiting period and higher premiums.  I wonder who makes this rules that FNB so willingly enforces. As I have said, I am willing to fight.
