FNB Life cover

<p>I app**** for Life cover with my Bank FNB in March and the consultant told me my case was reffered to the Underwriters. An Underwriter called me back and said that everything is in order and said my cover has been approved. Over a month later, I called them because when I check on my online FNB account the status is "Pending", so I quried this with them on the 11th of May 2017 and the consultant told me that the status on her side says my cover has been referred to the Underwriters. She said she will escalate this to the underwriters.</p> <p>This is pathetic service, FNB should just stay away from offering Direct Life Cover if they don't have the capacity or Underwriting rules to executive it. I asked the consultant to check their call recordings because I have spoken to an underwriter and that conversation should be retrieved as opposed to providing me pathetic servic. Don't get me wrong FNB is my first Bank of choice and they are a great bank, but clearly they suck at Life Cover, which is dissapointing.I still don't have a Life coverf, though I spent time on the phone with a consultant and an Underwriter.</p>
