FNB lets ********** off the hook

One would think that FNB takes ***** seriously. I submitted a ***** case to FNB in November 2021, where I provided them with all the information they first requested of me, and subsequently resubmitted this same information another 3 times (because "they did not receive it.") After submitting a complaint against the Digital ***** Department for their lack of engagement (I had not received any communication for 7 months despite several emails!) I was told that no ***** case with FNB existed (yet later on the ***** dept. confirmed this to be false and a reference number has existed since Nov 2021...). I submitted a second complaint since the first incorrectly concluded that I did not have a case lodged and nothing was done previously to address this issue. I eventually had to go into a branch to get FNB to email through all the required documentation to someone more senior, and still I have not been contacted by the complaints department with an apology or updates on this matter. I finally received clarity on what is required of me, 7 months later, even though I had emailed the ***** dept. several times requesting this same information. The feedback I've received from the ***** dept. to date is that "the problem is allegedly with Standard Bank," and "we are still waiting for Standard Bank," etc. In other words, FNB has decided to negate all responsibility for their inadequacies and incompetence to do their job and would rather blame another bank as a convenient scapegoat. Do you think I'll get my money back from the ********** company after 7 months of negligence by FNB?
