FNB leaves man hungry and broke for weekend due to refusal to change collection date

Last month I posted a complaint about the collection date of my credit card. It was meant to be on the 20th, by after FNB by 'mistake' deleted my credit card, the person who made my new one didn't set the correct collection date, which was the 20th, like the PREVIOUS one.

I have several complaints about this issue on hellopeter as FNB flat out refuses to change the collection date. Now for the 4th or 5th month in a row I have been paid and my account is blocked, meaning I cannot transfer money and pay finanical commitments such as overdue accounts due to covid. FNB has the nerve to threaten legal action if I don't pay, but every month I have an issue paying, and after making a new payment arrangement for the 20th, FNB has immediately forced me to dishonor that.

What gives FNB the right to hold a person hostage like this? Why do you make me go to bed hungry every month on the night of the 20th? Why do you make it impossible for me to put petrol? To pay for the roof over my head? For my car that takes me to work? TO pay the loan arrears from YOU that you threaten me with legally? I've been a customer for 20 years and always been a good payer, COVID comes and you can't hold out 3 months for me so I can make sure I'm not homeless? And then you also freeze my money every month?

SO I must wake up tomorrow and not have breakfast either? And judging by the situation my account will be blocked till Monday.

Again what gives you the right to freeze my money each month when you make a mistake? WOULD YOU LIKE THE EMAIL PROOF I HAVE WITH MY PERSONAL BANKER REQUESTING THE CHANGE?

Why must I post a complaint once a month on hellopeter and get fed promises and then you freeze my money? Who do you think you are?

This is financial and banking malpractise; how dare you bring me into disrepute with all my financial commitments including the one I have to you. How dare you freeze my money so that I cannot even eat dinner; DUE TO YOUR NEGLIGENCE.

Wake up, you are actually NOT allowed to do what you're doing.

By all means if it was on my account. But this is on yours. Maybe everyone at FNB should stop sleeping their offices and pretending that system is at fault. Wake up.
