FNB Law-on-Call - USELESS! Do NOT use them

FNB Law-on-Call - USELESS. We called FNB LOC on Monday, 20 April 2026 after a mediation/conciliation matter at the CCMA for constructive dismissal had failed. The case now has to move to arbitration, so we need a labour lawyer.

We phoned FNB LOC to speak to a lawyer, (Ref number is FNBREF#*** on plan number ***) and it left us feeling so frustrated and hopeless.

It seems like FNB don't know how to speak to and advise their clients. We kept trying to explain to the FNB LOC agent (Tumelo) who kept talking in circles, and kept interrupting my partner while he was trying to explain. It's like you guys don't want to help. We don't need legal advice from the call centre, we need a LEGAL REPRESENTATIVE.

The fact of the matter is: My partner went to the CCMA for Constructive Dismissal. He was unemployed since April 1. Mediation/Conciliation happend on 20 April and failed. We now need a labour lawyer to represent us for Arbitration, NOT LEGAL ASVICE.

Please just refer the matter to a competent legal house who can actually assist us.

I am so frustrated, I am thinking of cancelling....
