FNB Law on Call Policy: Basically a ****, Waste of Time and Money

It's been 3 months since I initially requested assistance from the FNB Law On Call.

After several mails and tens of calls, I still have not received any service from their network. Each follow up call and mail is met with a pathetic excuse of a response, like "sorry, the case has been assigned to Deon, he has to get back to you in the next few days" or email responses from Nokubonga Mlotshwa, "We confirm receipt of the 3 emails. Please note that we will assess the matter and revert." Inevitable nothing transpires from these interactions.

The only productive interaction was when one of their advisors, Deon, contacted me on the 13th of December, to acknowledged that somehow nothing has been done in terms of my request and he apologises, but also, that the legal offices on their network will be closing on the 14th of December, so no assistance will be possible for the rest of 2018.

In 2019 my numerous phone calls have been met with the same "the person assigned to you request is not available right now, someone will contact you shortly"

It's absolutely laughable at this point and it appears FNB is dead set on frustrating you to the point where you simply cancel the policy and walk away from the premiums paid monthly.

It is not a service I would recommend to anyone and want to warn others to stay away from signing up for this policy

From bad to worse... after logging this complaint a call centre advisor finally phoned me and tried his best to simply discourage me from claiming my wife's loss of income resulting from her accident. Also, that there is NO lawyers in the Western Cape dealing with such claims. (Then maybe don't sell the policy in the Western Cape?!?!) I wish to repeat myself: This service/policy is an absolute waste of time and is simply a way to collect micro transactions for FNB. ABSOLUTELY PATHETIC Whoever monitors this from FNB's side, feel free to reference the last call from "Deon" at 15:16 (1/02/2019)... stating that I am too hasty with my enquiry, after waiting since October 2018! Great customer service buddy!
