FNB Law on Call - its not 24 hours service
The law on call from FNB is horrible. plain and simple. Dont call them when you are under distress. I have a matter that i am requesting assistance the only thing i got is the reference number, my matter is sitting in less than 24 hours i dont know who is representing me.

08 Mar 2022, 11:09Here is my follow-up experience on similar matter. FNB allocated a lawyer on the last minute, the consequence of that - I paid plus R2000, 00 to travel from PTA to Ladysmith only to be told by the lawyer that he did not have time to go through the matter therefore, postpone. I will have to travel again and pay similar or even more (petrol prices increased since then) say R2500. The ticket i am appearing for is R3500. the cost of travelling there is more than the fine itself.
The bottom line is if FNB allocated the case to a lawyer earlier, i could have gone to court and asked for a ticket reduction then I pay the fine immediately then the case is over. Or even negotiate with court the payment milestones. but that is not possible because the lawyer is not ready.
If the court decide i pay half of the fine say R1700, my expenses for poor management of my case from FNB costs me R5000.00 above.
the allocated lawyer since the postponement, he never even bothered to consult with me of least advise.
