FNB Law on Call - Debit account early, debit order bounces, then refuse to allow you to make payment

24/10/2016 - FNB La w on Call debits my bank account EARLY for the monthly subscription.

As they debit the account early on 24 October 2016, and not when they should, the debit order bounces, as I have not received my salary payment yet.

Within 12-16 hours of seeing that the debit order bounced, I contact FNB Law on Call in writing asking them to please give me Bank Account details so that I can quickly make a payment to correct the situation.

Aware of the potential problems this could cause - as I have an open legal case being managed by Law on Call and their appointment Lawyers acting on my behalf - and I did not want one small bounced payment to stall or derail the process.

NOTE! This is under 24 hours, within the same day of finding out.

Over the next week, I send numerous emails to Law on Call Admin, asking for reply to my emails, and asking numerous times for bank account details so that I can make the payment.

28/10/2016 - I eventually email the legal advisor I have been dealing with and tell him about the issue, and that I am not getting anywhere with the admin people, and that I need to make payment ASAP.

Sidenote: At that point in time, and currently, Law on Call owes me almost R3000.00 for reimbur*****t of transcription service fees, which I was told in writing that they would reimburse - 6 weeks later, and still no reimbur*****t.

26/10/2016 - Law on Call advise me they need to re-issue they policy as they do not reinstate policies anymore.

I email back, explaining the circumstances how immediately after the debit order went unpaid, I contacted them to make payment, and that I have an open legal mattter that is currently being dealt with my a legal advisor at Law on call. I ask them to escalate my request to a senior manager. They confirm that they will, but this never happens.
Later on 28/10/2016 I missed a call from FNB Law on Call and am sent 2 SMS from Daphne Mmota at 16:41 saying I must please call them, telling me my policy has lapsed and if I still need it (which of course I do - with numerous emails to them confirming this) they can re-issue it.
20 minutes later I call them back, but am now too late as it is passed 17:00.
I then call them first thing Monday morning 31/10/2016 to speak to Daphne. She is busy on a call and someone takes a message to call me back.
She calls me a few minutes later. I remind her of her call and SMS. She then asks me why the subscription was not paid, and I then explain as above.
She tells me I must send her numerous copies of emails to Law on Call from the 25/10/2016 to show that I have been relentlessly following up to try and make payment but no one will assist me with the bank details.
I forward her all these emails.
I then get a call shortly afterwards from a Mashalaba Mzwandile. I tell him that I am dealing with Daphne on the matter.
He then proceeds to tell me that they now cannot re-issue the policy and that they need to open a new policy for me, and that any legal matters they are dealing with on my behalf will be closed.
This despite being told more than once within the last 3 days that they can re-issue my policy.
I advise Mashalaba that this is not acceptable, given the lengths of have gone to just to have this small +/- R100.00 paid without success. This depsite the fact that FNB Law on Call debited my account early, on the 24th of the month, instead of the 25th. This despite being told just previously in writing and phone that they can re-issue. This despite the fact that I was told this stupid issue would be escalted to a superior - which it never was.
All the while I have been trying to get this sorted out so that it does not impact the open case being litigated.
With a very bad attitude Mashalaba then tells me he then needs to go back and investigate what date I initially stipulated for the monthly debit order.
Sounding very much like FNB Law on Call will look for any minute discrepency to use to avoid having to fulfill obligations in terms of this policy.
All I would like is for my policy to be re-issued/re-instated, whatever you want to call it, a written undertaking that my open legal case will not be impacted by this small tedious issue, and a way that I can either pay the fee that is outstanding either by EFT or if they can debit my account ASAP, or even take it from the R3000.00 that they owe me in reimbur*****t.
Please resolve URGENTLY.

Received one reference number for both complaints I made on HelloPeter, however, they were two different issues.
Subsequently, I have been contacted by FNB to resolve the one complaint which is in progres. However the complaint I logged on this page - (re: refusing to allow payment by EFT for debit order which bounced) - I have had no contact in writing or other to resolve this.
This isssue is by far more important that the other one regarding the refund, as this complaint relates to an open case being managed by Law On Call, which would be affected by this issue not being handled timeously.
