FNB Law On Call

FNB Law On Call offeres amongst others the following services (according to their website) 1. In court representation 2. Investigative services 3. Legal documents.

How true the above is remains to be seen because i a few weeks back called the FNB Law On Call as a member and requested a legal document in a form of a lease agreement. The first Attorney said they do not do a lease agreement. I asked her 3 questions which were if she is a qualified Attoney, she said yes, second question was does she know how to draft a lease agreement and she said yes and my last question was why is she unable to draft a lease agreement for me and she said if it was a residential lease agreement she could help me but for a vehicle lease agreement she cant. I spoke to 2 other Attorneys who gave me a similar response.

I then decided that i want to speak to a Senior person to which i was given a person who said he is just under the Supervisor. I explained to him and said he will need to check with his Senior who is not available at the moment. He called me back later in the afternoon and said the Senior is still not available. That was the last time i spoke to him.

Unfortunately i was running out of time and under pressuer, i called back a few days later and i was told that the matter has been assisgned to another person who was supposed to have called me. I had only a few hours left. The person sent me an email with questions that i needed to answer and i send her a draft copy that i have already started on my own. At about 18h00 she still did not respond and at about 19h00 i had no choice but call an Attorney friend of mine to assist. We had to meet at his practice and aout 45 minutes later i had a draft in my hands and supsequent to that i had the final hard copy and an electronic copy.

Unfortunately i had to pay from my own pocket for that. The following morning, 45 minutes before my meeting she dicedes to call requesting additional information. I have been with FNB Law on Call for over ten years however there is a need for me ask myself if the Company FNB Law On Call has in relation to my matter been useful or useless. A qualified Attorney can not fail to draft a lease agreement. To say that they dont have a template for it makes me quastion their qualifications, ability, effeciency and accuracy.

Unfortunately for the Company to apologize to me they will need to reverse time or refund me the money i paid to my Attorney.

This was a sad.
