FNB lack of customer service with *****.

On Monday I got a notification from the FNB mobile app of transactions going of on my credit card, first two small one's and then a larger sum. I immediately tried to report the ********** transactions on the app, but the faulty app would not allow me to report the transactions. I then proceeded to speak to an online banker on the app, which phoned me and put me through to the ***** department. The lady took all of my information and cancelled the credit card (was more interested in getting my details to deliver a new card than the actual ***** that was happening). She stated that the ***** was reported and the department will be in contact with me.

The transaction was still pending and not authorized when I reported it, but when I logged in today I saw that it was authorized and showed as an amount owing.

I have received numerous calls from the couriers and a sms with a delivery date for the new card, but till today I have not received one call or anything from FNB with regards to the *****, I have not even received a reference number on the case. It seems they are more interested in making sure you have a new card than giving attention to the ***** case!

As someone that has always recommended FNB to friends and family I am extremely disappointed in the lack of customer service when it comes to ********** transactions. They can atleast keep the customer updated with the progress of the investigation.
