FNB kindly talk to your staff to give good quality service at all times
Well, i just opened a new business account with FNB. Quite a lovely brand and i have always loved it...but wait. Today i had a bit of bad experience and i shall outline it as such : Woke up very early , brazed the cold weather and went to the Southdale branch...understandably they were closed. I tried reading the hours written on the door and saw start time as 8am but did not notice the day but upon asking the security guy at the door he rudely told me to read whats written (as in like to notice that the branch only opens at 8am on specific days...monday i think). The dude had a bidvest jacket on. Okay next story, since i wanted to fix some tax matters i head to Carlton, around 10:05. I find myself inside the CALRTON FNB branch around the tellers section. There is this lady there who directs this other guy to the ATM to do a deposit on the premise that she only tellers are only meant to process deposits above 10k (thought i was dreaming). Is not self service an option? Looks like she was saying it is compulsory, that wrong and lazy of her. Cool, i ask for direction to the business accounts section , she nicely (well i think) tells me to go straight, go up with the elevators...her name is SEDZANI...at least thats what the name tag says..here i meet a guy mandated to usher customers in. I tell him i need a statement, (at least i thought..i actually needed proof of banking), this man tells me to go to the ATM. i ask him is that mandatory or an option...he irritatingly tells me in-branch statements come with a R25 cost (i tell i am cool with that). i can tell he is reluctant as i found him speaking to another client ,,..their conversation seemed to be going well..i must disturbed him lol..(ticket issued around 10:15). i sit and got assisted by a very nice lady called MPHO. ..SERVICE WENT from bad to good. Thanks Mpho....please be a custodian of good customer service. In this age of customer service, people judge at face value and decide whether you deserve to be given good customer service or not. Well Mpho issued me with a business bank confirmation letter.
