FNB just wanting to earn more interest

I app**** for a Home Loan on my Bond-free property (surely that should be enough surety) and received a decline letter.<br> <br> It is quite upsetting that a financial instution would rather offer a personal loan with a higher interest rate than help an individual from becoming overindebted. In this day and age and with the current economy you would think the friendly \Banker"would have the individuals interest in mind instead of trying to make more money on an economic decline.<br> I am getting the notion that FNB or any other financial institution is not willing to help with a Home Loan"
